LP Giobbi, a fast & rising star in the electronic music world reached out to us to create a mesmerizing psychedelic visualizer for her single Body Breathe ft. Monogem.
Process
When LP Giobbi reached out to us, she told us she was heavily inspired by psychedelic imagery and nature. She was able to provide us several images she took of mountainous landscapes that we used as inspiration to create the scenery in the video. We were tasked with creating a 30 second spot that could be looped throughout the whole song, which created a challenge to make something that could be visually interesting when seen repetitively. We decided to create a mesmerizing seamless loop that travels through a trippy landscape taking you from day to night.
Storyboarding
Next we moved into the storyboarding phase, where we established the composition, animation direction and sound design for each scene across all three survivor stories. This is also where we determined how the scene transitions would play out and even created some animation tests for a few to make sure they would work correctly before moving into production.
